BOMBAYWALA the name established in 1950’s with a join effort of family members of bombaywala, who’s aim is to established this name as a time old manufacture of block printing.
In the initial stages the Art of block printing was not aware of every one. The people who came from India was just only know the art of block printing, Bombaywala gives the awareness of block printing to the Pakistani that what its all about and how much its durable and high quality product. Once the people recognize the fact that Yes this is the product we looking for in terms of durability and availability that’s how people gives high appreciation to the product and that’s how the Bombaywala journey began…and now in 2008 the bombaywala is one of the most well known and reputable name in Pakistan.

Bombay Wala was setup immediately after partition by the grand father of Shahzad Bombay Wala, They are the pioneers of block printing and dying of fabrics. Until they introduced the art of block printing, the fabrics were printed only in normal traditional colors.

Shahzad Bombay Wala, grand son of the founder, after graduation in business administration, was inducted in to the family business. As it is, the art of block printing was in his grains and in his natural disposition. With ambition & intent to improve the product, particularly to bring brightness and fastness of colors, coupled with artistic designs, he undertook extensive visits of India Bangkok & Malaysia where he studied on the job where the work of art, color was being carried out by the artisans of the respective countries. In the process he acquired an in-depth knowledge & the perception of coming up with state of the art designs in block prints without compromising on the quality of fabric.
Shahzad is extremely grateful to his valued customers whose feedback has provided encouragement and motivation to bring up the product with ever changing new designs and quality in keeping with the modern trend.
